Party Poker is now offering a new exciting version of the Texas Hold'em poker game. Double Hold'em is played like regular Texas Hold'em, but with a twist.

First you receive three cards instead of two pre-flop. Once the flop is shown, and before the betting starts on the flop, you must select one card as the Point Card. The Point Card can't be changed once selected.

What's The Point Card?

The Point Card is the card that is used in each of your two hands. That's right, remember you've received three cards. Each of the non point cards is used with the Point Card to created a hand. For example, let's say you receive Ah, Kh and 9s pre-flop. Let's say you call the blinds, and the flop is shown. Before any betting on the flop, every player still in the hand must select a Point Card (you don't see the cards of the other players). In this example, let's say you select the Ah as your Point Card. You're now effectively playing with two hands, AhKh and Ah9s. The rest of the game is played the same; there's a round of betting on the flop, then on the turn, and then on the river before the showdown. At showdown, the best of your two hands is used to decide if you won the hand.
